Responsibilities

  • Review and understand project proposals and agreements while providing input on timelines, manpower, supplies, dedicated equipment, scheduling, and project logistics to ensure customer satisfaction and company operational goals are met.
  • Organize, supervise, and coordinate all crew activities related to project completion, including site preparation, containment setup, abatement activities, regulatory compliance, and final cleanup.
  • Maintain daily communication with management through phone, text, email, and project management software regarding project progress, staffing, and field conditions.
  • Examine and ensure quality of work, containment integrity, respirator compliance, negative air systems, and all safety procedures throughout the duration of the project.
  • Closely monitor and maintain the safety and welfare of all crew members while ensuring proper care and use of company equipment and vehicles.
  • Participate in project completion reviews and communicate field observations, challenges, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Assist with training and mentoring newer field personnel when needed.

 

Requirements


Supervisor Positions

  • 2 or more years of asbestos and/or lead abatement experience
  • 2 or more years of supervisory experience
  • Valid driver’s license (must be insurable under company policy)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in commercial, industrial, residential, and confined-space environments


Certifications Preferred / Required

  • Tennessee Asbestos Supervisor (Required for asbestos supervisor position)
  • Tennessee Lead Supervisor Certification
  • Tennessee Asbestos Inspector preferred
  • Tennessee Asbestos Project Monitor preferred
  • OSHA training certifications are a plus


Day Labor / Certified Worker Positions

  • Current asbestos and/or lead worker certifications preferred
  • Experience in remediation, demolition, construction, or environmental services is a plus
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work and follow safety procedures
  • Reliable transportation preferred


Additional Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred for supervisory positions
  • Experience with project documentation and compliance paperwork is a plus

 

Salary and Benefits

  • Competitive pay based on experience and certifications
  • Supervisor salary range: $55,000–$60,000 plus project bonuses
