Asbestos Abatement Supervisor (Licensed)

Lyell Environmental Services, Inc. (LES) is a Nashville, Tennessee based environmental services company specializing in asbestos, lead, mold and hazardous waste abatement and remediation services in the midsouth. In this position you will be responsible for managing commercial and residential asbestos projects, supervising crews, ensuring regulatory compliance, and effectively communicating status and results with other leadership members.

Responsibilities:

Review and understand project proposals and agreements and provide your insights and ideas on estimates of timelines, manhours, supplies, dedicated equipment, scheduling, and all other logistic matters to ensure customer satisfaction and company financial and operational goals for the project.

Organize, supervise, and coordinate activities of the crews involved in the completion of the project, including site preparation, set-up, ACM removal, regulatory compliance, and clean-up of all activities.

Report project status and progress on a daily basis through phone, text, email, and project management software with other members of the management team.

Examine and ensure quality of work and status of project and crew’s equipment, including all containment elements, respirators, air evacuation and filtrations throughout the workday to ensure government and safety protocols are observed.

Closely and constantly monitor and maintain the safety and welfare of your team members and take care of all company equipment.

Advise other management members of project completion and participate in a project completion summary meeting to review methods and assumptions.

 Requirements:

• 4 or more years of asbestos abatement experience
• 2 or more years of supervisory experience
• Valid driver’s license (insurable to company vehicle)
• Certifications required:
• Tennessee Asbestos Supervisor required
• Tennessee Asbestos Inspector preferred
• Tennessee Asbestos Project Monitor preferred
• Good communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook) preferred

Salary and Benefits:

Salary $55-60k plus project bonuses
